So it's been a while.

Short version: Nothing really got better in Kentucky. In fact, it got...really bad on a number of levels.

Moved out and back to Florida for a while. Trying to get my shit together in a way that will let me move out again. Right now I'm looking at Minneapolis and I'll be headed up there early next year to see how I feel about it in the dead of winter to make sure I'll be okay doing so.

I'm really fucking tired and kind of not sure what I'm doing with anything but here we are. Considering moving journals again because of stuff here but we'll see how I do.

Absolutely. As a transplant from a very temperate climate (Maryland) to Chicago, I recommend lots of cozy layers, many blankets, and, perhaps most importantly, *lots* of Vitamin D and a sun lamp, especially if you're coming from Florida. that winter dark is no joke. (My stored-sunlight batteries run out in February and it's May before I can start recharging them.)
