[Writing and random chatter]

Short version of this post:
I'd like a writing accountability group/buddy if anyone is so inclined. Actually back to making words, and three good things that have come up so far this week.


Longer version
I think I am finally getting back into the swing of writing again. Last year I took a major hit in productivity but this year I've written something in January, started in on my tiny stories again and have started two other things too. It's been a nice change of pace, honestly.

I still wish I had writing accountability buddies though. That is one thing I really miss. I love both my partners but neither of them is writerly folks and I miss having that bond over making words/struggling to make the/elation over actually doing the thing.

They are crafty sorts though, between crochet and chainmaiille but it's still different and I don't share either of those hobbies with them.

Anyway.

I wanna get more into Oroboros (placeholder title for this thing I started today) and potentially go back to working on the therapy story to see if I can't either wrap it up or get further into it. Plus I have my Midnight story to do, which I think I have fleshed out in the back of my head which is good.

I also wanna do more Gemstones this week, even though i go tmy three for the month done already. We'll see if I manage it though.

Three Good Things
- Writing again has been a delight.
- Starting the habit of weekly check-ins with the partners has been really good for me.
- Going door dashing with April has been a lot of fun. We just spent 7 hours listening to music and talking and it was awesome.

ALmost all of us write spec fic (except one) basically we do light critique about once every six weeks which gives us time to work it in our schedules but on the other hand it's not speedy either. We do under 5K at a time (most chapters are in the 103K range). Queer is no problem. I write that professionally and one member is bi (there are only 4 of us at the moment) I could probably share one of my zines with you.

Yes right now we're in luzula's blog. It'll probably come back to mine in a month or two.
